THE MAKING OF A GRETAKATE GOWN IS A PROCESS OF INTENTION
Every step is deliberate. Every detail, handcrafted—not just for the perfect fit, but to honour your story with clarity and artistry. From the first conversation to the final fitting, the process is paced with care and designed to feel as meaningful as the gown itself.
This isn’t only about how a gown fits your body, but how it becomes part of your story—something to carry with you long after the day has passed.
-
Your journey begins with a private one-on-one consultation at our Adelaide atelier. You’ll share ideas, explore silhouettes with the opportunity to try on some gowns, and see early sketches take shape. This is where your vision begins to become real.
—
Consultation fee: $80 -
Following your consultation, you’ll receive a tailored quote outlining the design, timeline, and pricing. Once approved, fittings are scheduled and your gown begins its quiet transformation from sketch to garment.
-
With a 50% deposit, production begins. Measurements are taken, fabrics confirmed, and the gown starts to take form—cut and constructed by hand with care.
-
Across 5–6 fittings, the gown is shaped, refined, and adjusted. Each session reveals more of the final piece—offering a rare, front-row view of its making.
-
Your gown is complete. Designed in dialogue with you, made by hand, and ready to become part of something lasting.
HOW IT WORKS
